3 Sine wave inverters repair tips

Sine wave inverters keep your electrical appliances safe, especially during power outages. It prevents voltage fluctuations in your sensitive equipment like microwaves, computers, and medical equipment during a power outage.

However, there’s always the possibility of the inverter taking its toll with time. This is why you should be ready and know how to repair your inverters if something goes amiss. 

1. Disconnect power outlets

Immediately disconnecting all power outlets during a power outage is the first thing to do. Leaving it connected only leads to more problems and possible failure. The maintenance personnel will then examine each part to determine the problem, and then accordingly make appropriate repairs. 

2. Don’t hold anything metallic

Make sure you don’t hold any metallic objects while repairing or servicing your inverter. It’s because you may have to disconnect the battery, and there’s the risk of the metallic object short-circuiting the battery. It only leads to the maintenance personnel getting injured or burnt. 

3. Use the right repair tools

Pure sine wave inverters are sensitive equipment and need professional repairs and services. While you may be able to loosen and tighten a few screws, it’s better to have professionals tackle any other major repair work. They have the necessary tools and knowhow to repair the inverter with minimal complications and problems.
